Westdale Junior School news

Our Jubilee Concert, in the presence of the Mayor of Gedling, was very well received by an enthusiastic audience of parents and friends today. The choir sang four songs, including Rock around the clock, Super Trouper and You raise me up and each of the year-groups also sang a song. In between these, children from the different classes narrated a presentation recalling highlights of the decades since Queen Elizabeth II become Queen. These included important royal events, important news headlines of the day, information about popular music and films, sporting headlines involving local and national stars and developments in technology and fashion.

SATs week is over for our Year 6s pupils.
It seems to have been a good week for them so congratulations to all for their effort.
